The marine life in Pengerang and the 'kampung' style of rustic life in Pengerang are both already in threat with the coming petrochemical project RAPID. The land reclamation was already done, so the shore line and the marine life have both been destroyed. Quite a shame that nothing much or more scientific was done to record the marvelous marine creatures that used to be there.
